FOUR "overlooked" female dogs are looking for a home to call their own.

The dogs, who are currently under the care of Dudley based Raven's Rescue UK, have been described as "lovely girls" by charity founder Sarah Price.

She said: "They have been overlooked but they all have fantastic natures and deserve a permanent home."

Poppy (pictured below) had found her forever home earlier this year but sadly her owner died and she was returned to Raven's.

She is a small Staffordshire bull terrier cross who needs to be in a child-free home with no other pets.

The five-year-old has a great recall and is very devoted.

Ruby (pictured below) is a stunning eight-year-old Dogue de Bordeaux who is described as a "nice, steady girl".

She gets on well with other dogs, but isn't keen on cats and loves nothing more than going on long walks and cuddling up for a nap afterwards.

Rai (pictured below) is a lively, sweet little pup who is great with children.

As she is only 11-months-old, the Staffordshire bull terrier cross will need a home who are willing to continue her training.

She could possibly live with a larger male dog after careful introductions.

Roxy (pictured below) is a sweet six-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier, who came to Raven's when her owner became seriously ill.

She is house trained, great with animals and children but is scared of cats.

All of the dogs have had a full health check, been behaviourally assessed, treated for fleas and worms, micro-chipped and neutered.

Home checks and donations apply.
