A MAN has appeared in court following an incident on a Netherton pub car park.
Police were called to The Woodman in Saltwells Road at around 8.45pm on Sunday (May 6) after receiving reports that a car had collided with a fence and a man was waving a knife at members of the public.
Alan Joyce was arrested at the scene and later charged with two counts of possessing a knife in a public place, three counts of criminal damage - amounting to £3,600 - and two counts of affray.
The 44-year-old, of High Street, Lye, was also charged with one count of failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis during the course of an investigation to determine whether he had committed an offence.
Joyce appeared before Dudley Magistrates Court on Tuesday (May 8) and was remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on June 5.
