CARE scheme Camphill Village Trust (CVT) Shared Lives will hold its second Stourbridge Community Breakfast Club in July.

The event will be jointly hosted by the Riverside House Project and Goodlife Community CIC (Artworks for Change) at Riverside House at 8am on Thursday, July 26.

Plans are to have an interactive art project on hand for visitors to participate in as well as enjoying a short film clip.

CVT head of service Dean Barnshaw said the first event back in April had been an 'amazing success'.

Mr Barnshaw added: "We had close to 40 attendees, including local residents, third sector organisations, community groups, the police and fire brigade, who all came together to share information and promote events that are happening across Stourbridge.

"The Breakfast Club is a great way to start the day by networking and finding out what is going on locally and we are aware that new partnerships have already been established as a result of people getting together for the first time at the last event.

"Above all else, the last Breakfast Club demonstrated that there is a true sense of community spirit in and around Stourbridge as well as a wealth of creativity and social responsibility, so why not come along, share your thoughts and talk about any projects you may be involved with.

"This is an outdoor event, so please bring your own chairs and fingers crossed for the weather. Any gazebos would be much appreciated for when we set up the day before. If you can help out at all, please contact me at: dean.barnshaw@cvt.org.uk or call on 07984 896010."

The last breakfast club sold out, so due to the interest generated 50 free places are on offer at Eventbrite at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/2nd-stourbridge-community-breakfast-club-tickets-43434262047
