JIM Davidson, Brendan Cole and Lemar are just some of the big names heading to Wolverhampton Grand Theatre next year.

Tickets for the new season of shows will go on sale from 11am on Monday (June 25) to Friends of the Grand and the general public can snap them up from 11am on Friday (June 29).

Soul Legends - featuring Lemar will run on Thursday, January 17.

In addition to soul anthems such as Respect, Ain't Nobody, Knock On Wood, Midnight Hour, River Deep Mountain High, special guest Lemar will perform some of his greatest hits, inclusing Dance (With You), If There’s Any Justice, It’s Not That Easy and The Way Love Goes.

Nights on Broadway – The Bee Gees Story is a tribute to the Bee Gees, featuring the Gibb brothers' incredible songs from over four decades.

The show on Friday, January 18 gives the audience the experience of being at a Bee Gees concert, with a unique blend of classic hits, acoustic medleys and dance floor favourites.

Jim Davidson: The People Fight Back is a brand new outrageous show that sees the comedian tell it like it is. He'll take to the stage on Saturday, January 19.

The New Year Viennese Strauss Gala takes place on Sunday, January 20 and sees Fritz introduces some of Johann Strauss’ great waltz and polka tunes like By the Beautiful Blue Danube and The Thunder and Lightning Polka as well as a little bit of his masterpiece Die Fledermaus. Highlights from the Merry Widow recall the genius of Franz Lehar, which – along with a wealth of operetta favourites – make for a truly wonderful night.

The Chinese New Year Extravaganza on Sunday, January 27 features a team of performers showcasing amazing Chinese performing arts. From the cheerful spirit of the auspicious Lion Dance, to the majestic and awe-inspiring contortion, the show is a colourful display of Chinese cultural tradition.

Brendan Cole returns to Wolverhampton on Thursday, February 14 with a brand new tour, I’m Still Standing.

After taking to the road over 22 years ago and touring all over the world, The Circus of Horrors returns with its latest brand new incarnation Psycho Asylum on Friday, February 15.

The spectacular features an amazing amalgamation of bizarre and fantastic circus acts all woven into a sensational shock/horror story and the darkest of magic – taking the show to a whole new level, it’s driven by a mainly original soundscape and performed with a forked tongue firmly in each cheek.

The Dreamboys will set pulses racing when they return to Wolverhampton on May 22 with their popular strip show.

Menopause The Musical will run on June 3 and 4. This hysterical show, packed full of one-liners about night sweats, hot flushes and memory loss, is backed by an instantly recognisable soundtrack of innuendo-laden versions of 60s, 70s and 80s pop classics. An all-singing, all-dancing comedy set in a department store, where four women with seemingly nothing in common, meet by chance and make fun of their woeful lives experiencing 'The Change'. Hilarity Charity Gala is Wolverhampton’s biggest night of comedy and returns on Wednesday, June 5 with a list of comedians to be announced.

Avenue Q runs from June 11-15 and is a laugh-out-loud musical that tells the story of a recent college graduate named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. There, he meets Kate (the girl next door), Rod (the Republican), Trekkie (the internet sexpert) and other colourful types who help Princeton finally discover his true purpose in life.

Following their triumphant production of Sweeney Todd in 2018, Walsall Operatic Society return from June 18-22 with Hello Dolly! The musical has become one of the most enduring musical theatre hits, with four Broadway revivals and international success and follows the story of Dolly Gallagher Levi (a strong-willed matchmaker), as she travels to Yonkers, New York, to find a match for the miserly "well-known unmarried half-a-millionaire" Horace Vandergelder. In doing so she persuades his niece, his niece's intended, and Horace's two clerks to travel to New York City.

Following his live performance appearances in the upcoming Grand Theatre production of Ladies’ Day this July, Tony Christie returns for a full live concert on Saturday, November 3. Tony Christie has enjoyed an incredible career, which includes over forty albums, seventy singles and countless live performances - a living legend and national treasure.
