A KNIFE was found in an alleyway in Kates Hill by patrolling police officers.
The 10 inch blade and sheath were discovered on the pathway between Mytton Close and French Road at 9.20pm yesterday (Monday, June 25).
Councillor Shaukat Ali, who represents the St Thomas's ward, took to Twitter to share his shock at the find.
He said: "We have to tackle this problem so that people feel safe on our streets and where they live."
