THE warm weather enticed thousands of visitors to Netherton Park's fun day.
A variety of activities were on offer throughout Saturday's event, including a classic car display, face painting, a bouncy castle, fun fair rides, stalls and live outdoor music and dance performances.
Dudley South MP Mike Wood said the event was a "roaring success", adding: “A huge well done to Richard Johnson and the Friends of Netherton Park for their hard work in organising such a fantastic day.
“Seeing so many people out making such fantastic use of the park, bringing people together and taking advantage of the huge range of stalls allows us to see just how important this is to the community.
“It made me very happy to see so many of my constituents enjoying the sunshine together in such a special way.”
Mr Johnson added: “This year's fun day went as planned and everyone had a great day.
"We had thousands of people attending the event once again.
"The event really did bring the whole community together.”
Next year's event will take place on July 6.
