A WOODSETTON pub threw its doors open this week to showcase its brand-new look following a six-figure makeover.

The Bramford Arms has been significantly refurbished throughout and now boasts an impressive bar area, together with improved viewing facilities to host the latest sporting events.

The revamped venue on Park Road reopened on Sunday (July 29) and the team welcomed the Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Alan Taylor and his wife Winifred, to try out the new facilities.

Christopher Henden, the pub's general manager, said: “We’ve had a fantastic time celebrating the reopening and our neighbours really came out to support us.

"Our guests are at the heart of what we do, so it was great to be able to mark the reopening with the local community.

“It was a pleasure to welcome the Mayor of Dudley and his wife to enjoy the new offering too.

"We’ve already had great feedback on the revamped bar and the sports viewing areas, with many guests planning their next visit around the upcoming matches."

The re-opening celebrations will continue this weekend with an 80s disco party on Friday (August 3) and a UB40 tribute act on Saturday (August 4).
