A BLACK Country charity is hoping a 5k fun run will pull in the pounds to fund a Christmas party.
More Mascots Please is looking for runners to take part in The Big Fun Run, which takes place in Cannon Hill Park
on Saturday, September 8.
The charity, based in Kingswinford, will stump up the £20 entry fee but is asking people to raise at least £21 in sponsorship.
Cash raised via the run will be used by the charity - which supports disabled, disadvantaged and in some cases terminally ill children - to host a festive get-together for its service users.
Anyone who would like to take part, should contact the charity's managing director, Ceri Davies, by emailing ceri@moremascotsplease.co.uk or calling 07946571964.
Additionally, the charity is looking for selection boxes and brand new children’s toys, plus children's entertainers to make the party the "best ever".
Ceri added: "If anyone could provide any of these, then we would be extremely grateful."
Donations can also be made via the charity's online fundraising page, www.goldengiving.com/wall/more-mascots-please-cic.
