AS the England squad prepare to take on Italy tomorrow in the Euros final, thousands of fans are also preparing to travel down to Wembley, hoping to see the three lions make history.

Dan Smith from Sedgley is one of the lucky few from the area that have managed to secure that all important ticket to hopefully watch England score that winning goal.

The 24 year old is a loyal England fan and has supported them on various away matches at the likes of Spain, Germany and Holland.

Dan said: "I was not fortunate enough to get a ticket to the previous Euro matches and due to work commitments I have not been able to go - luckily the final falls on a Sunday!

"I follow England away and the experience is fantastic. It is great to get away and meet fans from different clubs and you loose that club rivalry when you're there - everyone just gets along.

"It is a good united atmosphere when you watch England matches."

The Aston Villa supporter says he is very fortunate to have been able to watch so many matches and experience the atmosphere of away matches.

Dan, who will be meeting up fellow villa fans before the match, added: "I was excited when Jack Grealish was chosen for the squad, and I do think he should get played more, but I am not the manager and I cannot fault the manager based on his decisions so far.

"Everytime Grealsih come son and gets the ball, you get excited that something is going to happen.

"I don't like to predict results. I don't gamble on the results, I just like to enjoy it!"

Dan will be one of 60,000 fans watching the game live at Wembley stadium - with the rest of the nation gripped to their seats and cheering on the three lions.
