A TALENTED Netherton youngster is celebrating after beating off competition from across the country to achieve second place in a colouring competition.
Six year old Ellen Myatt, who attends Netherton CE Primary School, was one of 21,000 children across the country to enter the Key Stage One British Sausage Week colouring competition.
The Mr Sausage competition was run through the school's catering service and was open to all primary school age children.
The talented year two artist scooped second prize and was awarded with a host of goodies including £50 worth of Argos vouchers, as well as a £150 telescope for the school and a £50 donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
