Fire crews have been tackling a factory blaze on an industrial estate in Dudley this afternoon (Sunday, January 28).
A number of firefighters from West Midlands Fire Service are currently in attendance at a commercial unit on The Wallows Industrial Estate in Fens Pool Avenue, Brierley Hill.
In an update shortly after 7.30pm, the fire service said they had extinguished the fire, but warned has residents to avoid the area where they can.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service said: “The fire is out. We’ll still be in attendance for a period of time while we make the building safe and determine the cause.”
We are currently in attendance at a Fire in a commercial unit on The Wallows Industrial Estate, Dudley Fields, Brierly Hill.
