KASHMIR Youth Forum will be holding a football tournament this weekend.
The forum, which was set up with the aim of keeping youngsters off the streets and focused on sport and education, will be holding its first five-a-side tournament on Saturday at Castle High School.
There will be two tournaments running during the event on the St James’s Road football pitches – one for 11 to 13-year-oldsandthe other for 14 to 16-year-olds.
The competition will kick off at 12pm, with teams needing to register at 11.30am.
Winners from both tournaments will be awarded with a trophy.
Dudley North MP Ian Austin visited the forum as they prepared for the event said:”It is brilliant to see facilitiesusedso well. I am very happy with the hard work of the Kashmir Youth Forum in keeping the children off the street.”
