A YOUNG Sedgley golfer has got showing his teachers howto play the game down to a tee.
Dormston School pupil Alex Taylor (pictured), aged 13, scored a hole-in-one during a school golf competition.
The game between staff and students at the Mill Bank school, was played at Himley Golf Club.
Alex, who is a member of Stourbridge Golf Club,scored his ace on the sixth hole to ensure his group finished with a win although school staff went on to triumph in the overall competition.
Dormston assistant headteacher Peter Davies, said: “It’s phenomenal, I have never heard a cheer anything like that on a golf course before. I don’t think I have ever seen a grin so wide.”
