THE headteacher of Bishop Milner Catholic School has congratulated his GCSE pupils after they exceeded school targets.
Teenagers at the Burton Road school achieved 71 per cent five A* to C grades, with 58 per cent of all learners achieving five A* to C grades also including English and Maths.
Outstanding results were achieved by Michal Galasinksi, who gained nine A* grades and one A grade, while Rachel Tudor was awarded seven A* and three A grades.
Other top results were handed to Vadbhag Channa who got two A* and nine A grades, Jessica Hornby who achieved five A* and four A grades, Stephanie Mason who was awarded four A* and seven A grades and Simon Jeavons gained nine A grades.
Des Fagan, said: "Congratulations to the many individuals learners who achieved and exceeded the high targets set by the school.
"The learners, their parents and staff deserve the highest praise and acknowledgment for what they achieved."
