WREN’S Nest National Nature Reserve is offering visitors the chance for an autumn amble.
On Wednesday, October 7 from 10am until 12.30pm, the warden at Wren’s Nest will demonstrate what special things to look out for in autumn.
There will be an opportunity to find out the answers to autumnal questions such as whether ladybirds hibernate, what makes the leaves on the trees change colour and which birds leave the UK for the winter and which ones arrive.
Binoculars will be useful and the walk is unsuitable for young children. Dogs are not allowed. Booking early is recommended to avoid disappointment by calling 01384 812785. Participants should meet at Mons Hill College car park, Wren’s Hill Road, Dudley.
