A BOSTIN shop, which sells 'tay shirts' emblazoned with well-known Black Country phrases, has launched a new range of items in the Black County Living Museum's gift shop.

TeeT shirts, which has been based in Reddal Hill Road, Cradley Heath, since 2007, sells hoodies, t-shirts, bags, caps and tea towels featuring funny sayings from many of the towns around the Black Country.

The lads from the company, who send out items all over the world, are also known for becoming a massive internet hit for concocting the Black Country alphabet.

But their latest venture is to join up with the Tipton Road museum, with bosses agreeing to stock items in its gift shop.

Steve Pitts, Co-founder of TeeT Shirts said: "We are delighted to secure the link up with the Black Country Living Museum. It has been our ambition to work alongside the museum since we started. The Museum preserves and promotes the region’s rich heritage which is something we, as a company, aspire to and I look forward to a productive future together"

The Black Country Living Museum gift shop will be stocking a range of t-shirts and bags with the Black Country alphabet design on them including gems like ‘f is for fittle’ and ‘z is for stripey oss’, alongside ‘tay towels’ with the 10 commandments in Black Country speak.

And to mark the launch the gift shop will have 60 free t-shirts saying 'Got mar free tay shirt’ to giveaway with purchases of TeeT shirts, bags or tea towels on Saturday.
