A 44-YEAR-old Pensnett woman has been handed a community order for failing to secure regular attendance at school of registered pupil.

Dudley Magistrates handed Cheryl Stanley, of Bridgend Croft, a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered her to pay £200 costs when she appeared in court on December 10.

Also in court on December 10: Sean Michael James Parkes, aged 21, of Heath Green, Dudley, was fined £60 and ordered to pay £300 compensation and £15 costs and £85 court costs, for causing £300 damage to two double glazed units.

Martin Smith, aged 47, of Ashenhurst Road, Russells Hall, was handed a two year restraining order and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £100 court costs for causing £100 damage to a window pane.

Karl Handley, aged 33, of Halesowen Road, Netherton, was handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £125 compensation and £85 court costs, for assault.

Amer Bashir, aged 33, of Grainger Street, Dudley, was fined £300 and ordered to pay £295 costs and £15 costs, for plying for hire without a hackney carriage licence.

The defendant was also fined £300 and handed eight licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

In court on December 7: Karmat Hussain, aged 60, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was fined £210 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £300 court costs and handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

In court on December 8: Laurents Murkstis, aged 19, of Spring Road, Netherton, was fined £50 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £50 court costs, for possessing cannabis.

Nikki Colin Palmerini, aged 32, of Geranium Road, Kates Hill, was fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and £15 costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 18 months, for driving over the legal alcohol limit.

In court on December 11: Stefan Joseph Gregg, aged 19, of Hill Street, Brierley Hill, was handed a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 court costs, for being found in an enclosed yard for an unlawful purpose.

Nathan William Lavender, aged 18, of Bankwell Street, Brierley Hill, was handed a 18 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 court costs, for causing £150 damage to a glass foyer door.
