A 24-YEAR-OLD woman was rescued in the early hours of this morning (Sunday February 7) after being found impaled on a fence in Netherton.
The incident happened in Cradley Road just before 1.30am.
Found six foot off the ground - the woman had become impaled in her thigh on spiked railings around a car sales garage.
Firefighters managed to cut her free while paramedics treated her at the scene before taking her to Dudley's Russells Hall Hospital by ambulance.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "The woman's injuries were serious but were not thought to be life-threatening."
