BTEC music students at a Dudley secondary school rubbed shoulders with the stars as they welcomed back a former pupil who has found fame in a touring stage show.

Daniel Hall is a bass guitarist in the stage show Don’t Stop Believin’, a tribute to the hit US show Glee, currently touring the country. During a visit to the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, Dan, who left Castle High School in 1999, returned with fellow cast members to work with pupils wanting to pursue similar careers.

Helen Blythe, head of Music at the St James'’s Road school, said: “It was great for the children to meet someone like them who has succeeded in the industry and for Dan to tell them about his real life experiences.”
