A 30 YEAR-old Dudley woman has been banned from keeping animals for 15 years, after she pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Claire Francis Cordelia Autie, of Larkspur Road, appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court on March 18.

The defendant was handed the disqualification, as well as a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £250 costs, for causing the suffering of the female staffie, which led to the dog’s death.

Magistrates also handed her a 12 month community order for failing to provide the dog with a suitable environment, by leaving her unattended in a rear garden, which led to injury and death.

Also in court on March 18: Raja Naveed Hussain, aged 28, of Hilderic Crescent, Holly Hall, was jailed for six weeks, for assaulting a police officer.

Robert Jason Pritchard, aged 40, of Bell Street South, Brierley Hill, was handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 court costs, for damaging a window pane.

Mohamed Sharif Botan, aged 38, of High Street, Brierley Hill, was fined £300 and £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving while disqualified.

Joseph James Dixon, aged 44, of Medway Close, Pensnett, was fined £150 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for six months, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.

Conrad Ricardo Wilson, aged 18, of Wren’s Nest Road, Dudley, was fined £50 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £150 court costs, for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.

The defendant was also fined £100 and handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

In court on March 14: Fiona Ellis, aged 38, of Mayflower Drive, Pensnett, was fined £35 and ordered to pay £15 costs, as well as being handed three licence penalty points, for driving while using a mobile telephone.

The defendant was also fined £35 for driving while not wearing a seatbelt.

Fern Brittain, aged 23, of Clarence Street, Upper Gornal, was handed a 12 month community order, ordered to pay £100 court costs and disqualified from driving for two years, for failing to provide a sample.

The defendant was also handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £200 compensation, for failing to stop after an accident, which caused injury.

Andrew Joseph Fisher, aged 18, of Lodge Crescent, Netherton, was fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, for possessing a knuckle duster in a public place.

In court on March 15: Shane Alan Russon, aged 32, of Marigold Crescent, Dudley, was handed a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £80 compensation and £85 court costs, for damaging a car windscreen.

Gillian Ryan, aged 54, of Spring Road, Dudley, was fined £35 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £60 costs, as well as being handed three licence penalty points, for speeding.

Neil Alexander Jameson, aged 44, of Beech Green, Dudley, was handed a 12 month conditional discharge, for possessing cannabis.

Robert John Parke, aged 46, of Valmaur, Bromley, was fined £350 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £300 court costs, as well as being handed five licence penalty points, for speeding.

In court on March 16: Liam Patrick Edwards, aged 24, of Stourbridge Road, Dudley, was jailed for four weeks suspended for six months and ordered to pay £85 court costs, for breaching an ASBO.

Andrew Norman Humpage, aged 47, of Osprey Drive, Russells Hall, was fined £150 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for three years, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.
