A 28 YEAR-old Dudley man has been handed a community order after stealing cheese.

Appearing at Dudley Magistrates Court on June 6, Mohammed Shafiq, of Himley Road, was handed the six month punishment, for stealing three blocks of cheddar cheese, worth £13.17 from Co-op.

Also in court on June 6: Naveed Khan, aged 27, of New Road, Netherton, was fined £525 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for failing to reveal the identity of a driver.

Michael Harry Hickman, aged 30, of Harebell Crescent, Dudley, was fined £280 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 20 months, for drinking while over the legal alcohol limit.

The defendnat was also fined for £100 for driving without insurance.

In court on June 7: Majid Iqbal, aged 31, of Lister Road, Dudley, was fined £30 and ordered to pay £15 costs, for driving with a incorrect font on a registration number plate.

Sam Turner, aged 19, of Kingswinford Road, Dudley, was fined £200 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

Jemma Louise Tinker, aged 28, of Golden Hillock Road, Netherton, was handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £85 court costs, as well as being disqualfied from driving for 12 months, for taking a vehicle without the owners consent.

In court on June 8: Burham Rahman, aged 40, of Highgate Road, Dudley, was fined £65 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £60 costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

The defendnat was also fined £40 for driving without a valid test certificate.

Adel Yaqib, aged 23, of Baptist End Road, was fined £105 and ordered to pay £15 costs as well as being disqualified from driving for six months, for driving without insurance.

Mohammed Altaf Zaman, aged 58, of Wallows Road, Brierley Hill, was fined £115 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £60 costs, as well as being handed three licence penalty points, for ignoring a no entry sign.

Catherine Jean Griffiths, aged 46, of Springfield Road, Sedgley, was fined £150 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 24 months, for failing to provide a specimin.

Mark Peter Raybould, aged 36, of Kilburn Place, Netherton, was fined £50 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £250 court costs, for possessing cannabis.

The defendant was also fined £100 and for possessing cocaine He was also jailed for 10 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for possessing a knife in a public place.

In court on June 9: Sajad Hussain, aged 31, of Himley Road, was handed a 12 month community order and a restraining order, as well as being ordered to pay £100 compensation and £150 court costs for assault.

Stuart Michael Rose, aged 47, of Summer Lane, Lower Gornal, was handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £50 compensation and £85 court costs, for assault.

Stephen Taylor, aged 42, of Stourbridge Road, Dudley, was jailed for eight weeks and handed a one year restraining order, for harrasment.

Stacey Riley, aged 25, of Parkway Road, Dudley, was fined £35 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £60 court costs, as well as being handed three licence penalty points, for driving without due care and attention after colliding with a cyclist.

In court on June 10: Arshad Mahmood, aged 33, of Pensnett Road, Brierley Hill, was fined £65 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £60 costs, for driving without a valid test certificate.

Marie Anne Booth, aged 36, of Blowers Green Road, Dudley, was fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 costs as well as being disqualified from driivng for 18 months, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.

The defendnat was also fined £100 and handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

Dean Seymour, aged 50, of Heath Green, Dudley, was fined £60 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £60 court costs, as well as being handed three licence penalty points, for driving while using a mobile phone.

Aaron Patrick Anslow, aged 25, of Fourwinds Road, Dudley, was jailed for 12 weeks and disqualified from driving for 12 months, for driving while disqualified.

Aziz Ahmed, aged 41, of Chester Road, Dudley, was fined £60 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £60 costs, as well as being handed three licence penalty points, for speeding.
