AN EXOTIC pet has gone missing following a burglary on the Wren's Nest estate.
Offenders forced entry into the property on Wednesday, August 10 between 7.30am and 3.30pm.
During the burglary a six-month old African Grey parrot went missing.
Pc Louise Porter, from the Castle and Priory neighbourhood team, said it was not known whether the parrot was stolen or released from his cage during the incident.
The parrot is grey with red tail feathers and responds to the name ‘Jessy’.
Pc Porter added: “This is a distinctive exotic bird that needs a great deal of looking after and caring for. The owners are understandably upset about losing what was a lovely pet.”
