Man cut free after Rowley Regis smash

AN injured male was cut free from a car after a collision in Rowley Regis overnight.

Fire crews from Cradley Heath and Oldbury were dispatched to an incident at 2.23am this morning (Saturday) on Powke Lane after a crash involving two vehicles.

Officers used cutting equipment remove the roof of the man’s car; he was taken to hospital with suspected spinal injuries.

Another casualty suffered minor injuries and was also taken to hospital.
