GENEROUS donors have helped raised more than £36,000 in 12 months for Russell’s Hall Hospital's Leukaemia Unit Appeal.
The money has been raised through the Upper Gornal-based charity shop in Kent Street.
The shop has proved so successful, charity organisers are hoping to open up another shop in Fenton Street in Brierley Hill.
Appeal fundraisers are also getting set to boost the coffers with a race night on Friday.
The event will take place at Dudley Kingswinford Rugby Club at 7pm.
Tickets priced £6 each, which includes and fish and chip supper, are available from the Georgina Unit reception or the charity shop.
