Woodside community to mark the Jubilee this weekend

WOODSIDE Community Centre will play host to a big Jubilee party this Saturday.

Volunteers have lined up a full day of entertainment including a children’s entertainer, singers, a jubilee exhibition and a steel band.

John Pestana, Community Centre Chairman said, “We knew that lots of parties were taking place last weekend so we decided to have ours a week later so that our friends and neighbours can enjoy a double celebration! We hope that lots of people will come along on Saturday and join in the fun.”

The event starts at 11am and is free to attend, refreshments will be available and the day will round off with the release of celebration balloons in aid of local charity MJP Cancer Care Trust Fund.
