A DUDLEY gym has donated £1,500 towards a charity which supports people with a rare incurable liver disease.

Unique Fitness 4 Ladies Only, in Wellington Road, held a fundraising week in aid of Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, which included zumba, cardio kick and aerobics sessions outside on the pavement, as well as a raffle draw, coffee morning, henna artist and stalls.

The activity week, which ran from May 28 until June 1, raised £1,403 and was boosted by a £96.50 donation from the gym to round up the total.

The club held the event after being approached by the parents of a child, who has been diagnosed with the condition, which has no known cause, cure or treatment.
