Seven people injured in two car Kates Hill crash

SEVEN people were injured in a two car collision in Kates Hill last night.

The incident took place in Watsons Green Road at 10.22pm.

One woman who was a rear seat passenger in one of the vehicles was trapped inside and complaining of neck pain.

Firefighters from Tipton and Brierley Hill used specialist cutting equipment to remove the rear door and free the patient, who was then taken to hospital by paramedics for further treatment.

A further six people, who were all free of the vehicles before the fire service arrived, were treated on scene by ambulance crews.
