Plans for new hotel submitted to council

PLANS for a new 63 bed hotel for Castlegate have been submitted to council planners.
The proposed Premier Inn, whose advertisement campaign is fronted by Dudley’s Lenny Henry, will be built in the Castlegate Business Park, alongside Showcase Cinema and The Village Hotel.
If given the go ahead, the three-storey hotel will also include dining facilities and a resident’s bar area, as well as 65 car parking spaces including two electric vehicle charging points.
The application is expected to be decided on by members of Development Control Committee in the near future.
