STAFF at a Dudley care home will be putting their best feet forward to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Society.
The team from Broadway Halls Care Home are set to walk 25 kilometres from the home to Bridgnorth Cliff Top Railway on Wednesday, July 11.
Care Home Manager Gillian Howarth, said: “Alzheimer’s is a condition which will affect more and more of us and with an ageing population it is important that we support further research in to the condition. Here at Broadway Halls we have introduced trailblazing initiatives not only in dementia care but across the business as a whole. We really hope the public will get behind us and support us by sponsoring the walk or making a donation.”
The sponsored walk is just one of a programme of events desiugned by staff and residents to raise money for the charity this year.
In September staff and residents will be taking part in a km Memory Walk at Dudley Zoo.
