Shoplifter, 27, swiped £1k of stores’ goods

A 27-YEAR-old Kates Hill woman has been handed a 12 month community order after stealing a more than £1,000 worth of clothing and make-up.
Appearing at Dudley Magistrates Court on June 25, Jolene Candice Guest, of St Johns Road, was handed the order as well as being ordered to pay £60 court costs, for dishonestly undertaking in the retention, removal or disposal of stolen clothing, worth £549.97 from River Island.
The defendant was also handed a 12 month community order, for dishonestly undertaking in the retention, removal or disposal of stolen make up and perfume box sets, worth £579, from Boots.
She was also handed a 12 month community order, for dishonestly undertaking in the retention, removal or disposal of stolen clothing, worth £89, from Next.
Also in court on June 25: Sara Beeney, aged 40, of Crabourne Road, Dudley Wood, was fined £110 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £50 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 22 months, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.
Stewart Locke, aged 44, of Crabourne Road, Dudley Wood, was fined £200 and ordered to pay £15 costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 18 months, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.
Lee Paul Hadlington, aged 33, of Stourbridge Road, Dudley, was handed a 12 month community order, for stealing five flash drive memory cards, worth £59.95, belonging to Clas Ohlson.
The defendant was also fined £50 and ordered to pay £49.98 compensation and £15 costs, for stealing two car handsfree kits, worth £49.98, from Clas Ohlson.
He was also handed a 12 month community order for possessing a knife in a public place.
ADAM Lee Wrench, aged 27, of Tennyson Street, Pensnett, was fined £200 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.
The defendant was also fined £600 and handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
Philip William Rouse, aged 43, of High Oak, Pensnett, was fined £200 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £60 court costs, as well as being handed three licence penalty points, for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.
Wade Brownhill, aged 24, of Langstone Road, Dudley, was fined £350 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £65 court costs, as well as being handed 10 licence penalty points, for failing to stop after an accident.
Curtis Martin, aged 21, of Highfield Road, Sedgley, was fined £110 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 costs, as well as being handed eight licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
Andrew Jason Reid, aged 19, of Wren’s Nest Road, Dudley, was handed an 18 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £150 costs, for obstructing a police officer.
In court on June 26: Ryan John Blunt, aged 21, of Hockley Lane, Netherton, was fined £275 and ordered to pay £15 costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
Robert Barry Brown, aged 46, of Tower Street, Dudley, was fined £35 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 costs, as well as being handed three licence penalty points, for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.
The defendant was also fined £35 for overtaking within the limits of a Zebra controlled area.
Mitchell Alan Bunce, aged 20, of Purlin Wharf, Netherton, was fined £110 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 12 months, for driving without insurance.
Brian Cresswell, aged 47, of Short Street, Dudley, was fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £400 costs, for failing to notify Dudley Council of a change in circumstances regarding housing benefit entitlement.
In court on June 27: Arron James Thomas, aged 21, of Peak Drive, Gornal, was fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, for possessing cannabis.
Jeffrey Brian Hall, aged 31, of Aston Road, Dudley, was handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £85 court costs, for supplying cannabis.
In court on June 28: Neil Lloyd Gordon, aged 47, of Stourbridge Road, Dudley, was jailed for 28 days, for stealing a bottle of Jack Daniels whisky, worth £32.30 from Tesco.
Mahmood Tahsin, aged 23, of High Street, Brierley Hill, was jailed for nine weeks and disqualified from driving for three years, for driving while disqualified.
Donald Reice Hornby, aged 21, of Baptist End Road, Netherton, was handed an 18 month community order and ordered to pay £85 court costs, for using violence to enter a premises.
