Bonmarché staff put best feet forward

DUDLEY’S Bonmarché staff put their best feet forward to help raise more than £200 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

A team of eight ladies from the Dudley, Merry Hill and West Bromwich store took part in a seven mile sponsored walk on July 14.

Dressed head to toe in green clothing, complete with a bright green tutu, the staff walked from the West Bromwich shop to the Merry Hill store via Dudley to raise funds for the store’s charity of the year.

The shops also hosted raffles for a home baked cake in a bid to boost the coffers for the charity, which they are supporting for the 13th year running.

Sally Hill, Corporate Account Manager, from Macmillan says; "It is always great to see how Bonmarché employees throw themselves wholeheartedly into fundraising for Macmillan.

"We appreciate their dedication throughout the 13 year partnership and having them in our corner, supporting the team at Macmillan.

"We look forward to see what other fundraising activities they pull out of the bag."
