Lye man facing charges for attempted abduction of Dudley youngster

A 28 year-old Lye man has been ordered not to enter Dudley’s Priory and Wren’s Nest estates after being accused of the attempted abduction of a four year-old girl.
Pizza delivery driver, Adnan Arshad Khan, of Pearson Street, appeared in Dudley Magistrates Court this morning, following the alleged incident at around 6.10pm on Thursday, July 26.
Magistrates granted bail with a number of strict conditions which included a £5,000 surety put up by his family.
Mr Khan was also ordered to surrender his passport, report to Brierley Hill police station daily, reside at his given address and not enter the two Dudley neighbourhood estates.
He is next set to appear at Dudley Magistrates Court at 10am on September 10 for committal proceedings.
