Family health fair to be held

FAMILIES can discover the best ways to keep fit and healthy at a Lower Gornal health fair later this month.
Gornal Parent and Children’s Centre is hosting the event at Roberts Primary school, Robert Street, on Tuesday August 14.
The free fair is open to the families of children under five years old including siblings and grandparents and runs from 1.30 to 3.30pm.
Activities will include a bouncy castle, face painting and arts and crafts as well as cookery classes and learn to massage taster sessions.
There will also be over 20 stands giving professional advice on areas such as healthy eating, stopping smoking, breast feeding, dental health and managing stress.
