A Netherton car sales company has been fined by Dudley Magistrates Court for selling vehicles with false information.
Appearing in court on July 26, Corbetts Motor Company Limited, off Cinder Bank, was fined £1,500 and ordered to pay £325 compensation, £15 costs and £1,201.45 costs, for advertising vehicles for sale on the internet with inaccurate specification details.
In court on July 16:
- Leonard Branwood, aged 71, of High Park Crescent, Sedgley , was fined £400 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 12 months, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.
- Craig Benjamin Payne, aged 27, of Heath Green, Dudley, was fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £100 costs, for dishonestly making a false representation to obtain a crisis loan.
- Anthony Edwards, aged 48, of Park Road, Netherton, was fined £600 and handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
The defendant was also fined £400 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 court costs, for speeding.
- Elaine Moloughney, aged 54, of Four Winds Road, Dudley, was fined £36 and ordered to pay £15 costs for driving a car which had a rear lamp not in good working order.
The defendant was also fined £36 for driving a car which had a front lamp not in good working order.
In court on July 17:
- Steven Bennett, aged 29, of Albion Court, Commonside, was fined £55 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 court costs, for failing to produce a driving licence to a police officer.
The defendant was also fined £55 for failing to produce an insurance certificate to a police officer.
He was also fined £55 for failing to produce a valid test certificate to a police officer.
- Quaswar Hussain, aged 30, of Brewery Street, Kates Hill , was fined £400 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 court costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for speeding.
- James David Green, aged 26, of Peak Drive, Lower Gornal , was fined £70 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, for possessing cannabis.
- Wayne S Jones, aged 33, of Heath Road, Netherton, was handed a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20.40 compensation and £85 court costs, for stealing a hub cap.
- Dawn Sandland, aged 28, of Hollyhock Road, Kates Hill, was fined £36 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £150 costs, for dishonestly making a false representation to obtain a crisis loan.
- Ryan Dale Barton, aged 23, of Hill Street, Netherton, was handed a six month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 coirt costs, for destroying a window frame belonging to Dudley Council.
In court on July 20:
- Scott Samuel Westwood, aged 26, of Stourbridge Road, Dudley, was fined £50 and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £15 costs and £85 court costs, for damaging a window pane.
In court on July 23:
- Aldane Mckenzie, aged 18, of New Road, Netherton, was handed a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £40 court costs, for possessing cannabis.
- Richard Steven Bradley, aged 27, of Milton Street, Pensnett, was jailed for eight weeks, for assaulting a police officer.
- Dean Davies, aged 24, of Mullett Street, Brierley Hill , was fined £110 and ordered to pay £15 costs, £85 court costs and disqualified from driving for three months, for driving without insurance.
- Hassan Qaumi, aged 21, of Castleton Street, Netherton, was fined £600 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
- Marek Zoladkiewicz, aged 50, of Wolverton Road, Dudley, was fined £600 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
- Mobeen Ahmed, aged 36, of Newark, Netherton, was fined £400 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 court costs, as well as being handed four licence penalty points, for speeding.
- Wayne Ault, aged 34, of Green Park Road, Dudley, was fined £25 for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.
The defendant was also fined £110 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
- Sapphire Edwards, aged 21, of Vicarage Prospect, Dudley, was fined £600 and ordered to pay £80 costs as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
The defendant was also fined £200 for driving a vehicle she was not licensed to drive.
- Henry Nakah Kinge, aged 50, of Heath Green, Dudley, was fined £36 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 court costs, as well as being handed three licence penalty points, for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.
- Stembile Mhazo, aged 36, of Tenacre Lane, Upper Gornal , was fined £50 for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.
The defendant was also fined £250 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 court costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
- Iftikar Ahmed, aged 42, of Cypress Road, Dudley, was fined £338 and ordered to pay eight licence penalty points, for driving without insurance. The defendant was also fined £375 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £310 court costs, for driving without due care and attention.
In court on July 24:
- Sajjad Hussain, aged 38, of Claughton Road, Dudley, was fined £110 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driivng for 36 months, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.
The defendant was also fined £36 for driving while using a mobile telephone.
- David Richard Jeeves, aged 32, of Vicarage Road West, Sedgley, was fined £380 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for three years, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.
- Nicholas Playdon, aged 24, of The Broadway, Dudley, was fined £165 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, for driving without due care and attention.
The defendant was also fined £165 for providing a false name and address. He was also disqualified from driving for two years, for driving without insurance.
- Victoria Griffiths, aged 25, of Dibdale Road, Dudley, was fined £280 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 court costs, as well as being handed seven licence penalty points, for failing to stop after an accident.
The defendant was also fined £185 for driving without due care and attention.
- Graham Homer, aged 60, of Abbotsford Drive, Dudley, was fined £36 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for six months, for driving while using a mobile telephone.
In court on July 25:
- Adam Benjamin Carl Butcher, aged 22, of Willow Road, Dudley, was handed an 18 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 compensation, for damaging a glass panel.
- Shane Stephen Murphy, aged 24, of Wrens Nest Road, Dudley, was fined £73 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, for possessing cannabis.
