AN artistic Holly Hall student is using his talents to help raise money for Lye Cricket Club.
Holly Hall Academy pupil, Bobby Singh Rai, aged 15, has spent the last fewmonths working on the digital art work for his GCSEArt project using his favourite sport as the theme.
Following completion of the project, some of his teachers who play at the club, suggested displaying the finished articles at the Stourbridge Road ground in time for the three-day Black Country Beer Festival, which is being held at the club from tomorrow, and potentially being seen by hundreds of visitors.
Bobby’s art work is now adorning the walls of the club and is available for sale, with part of the money being donated to the club.
Lye Cricket Club secretary Jak eHanson, said: “We are keen to promote this wonderful art work with other cricket clubs and the general public during the Black Country Beer Festival.
“We are sure our visitors and guests will be impressed with the display.”
