A-Level joy for Dudley students

DUDLEY students have been rewarded for their hard work with excellent A Level results.

Bishop Milner students achieved 99 per cent pass rate, with 69 per cent achieving the highest A* to C grading. Students at the top of the class included Rachel Allen who was awarded two A* and two A grades and Beth Hancox who achieved four A grades.

Headteacher Steve Haywood, said: “As a school with a fully comprehensive post-16 intake, these results are testament to the hard work and dedication of both students and staff.”

Meanwhile students at Dudley College were also celebrating their results, with a 98.3 per cent pass rate, with 68 per cent securing A* - C grades – with stand out grades achieved in Maths, communication and culture, photography and history.

College Principal, Lowell Williams, said: “We are extremely pleased with these results, especially the improvement on last year’s pass rate. Today’s results give an indication of the value the college has added to these individuals’ knowledge and life skills.”
