DUDLEY council tenants are being encouraged to get involved in helping to shape the authority’s housing service.
Dudley Federation of Tenants and Residents Associations together with Dudley Council are hosting a conference on Saturday September 22, which will allow residents to have their say.
The event, at Brierley Hill Civic Centre will run from 9am until 1pm and lunch will be provided.
Martin Smith, acting chair of Dudley Federation of Tenants and Residents Associations, said: “We want to encourage as many tenants and residents to attend.
"This is a real opportunity to help develop a new and effective way of how we can shape and influence the housing service of the future. We want tenants and residents to play an equal part in improving and regulating the service, by sitting at the same table as council officers and politicians and making decisions together.”
To reserve a place at the conference contact the council’s participation development team on 01384 815168 or email participation@dudley.gov.uk
