New online process for school places

PARENTS can apply for primary and secondary school places quickly and easily from this year by using a new online system.

The application process is open for all families looking for places for their children starting primary school or transferring to secondary schools in the borough next year.

By using the new system, parents will also be notified online when the allocation results are known.
 

However for none internet-savvy parents, paper application forms are still available on request.

The closing date for secondary school applications is 31 October while the deadline for primary school places falls on January 15.
