A 35 YEAR-old Dudley man has been fined by Dudley Magistrates Court after allowing a child to stand in a car footwell while it was travelling.
Appearing in court on September 11, James Robert Peter Cole, of Wrens Hill Road, was fined £170 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 costs, as well as being handed three licence penalty points, for driving a Vauxhall Corsa on May 15 , and allowing child passengers to not wear seatbelts and allowing a child to stand in the footwell.
Also in court on September 11:
- Stuart Errol Bailey, aged 45, of Northfield Road, Netherton , was fined £200 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.
The defendant was also fined £600 and handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
- Josie Flynn, aged 29, of Jasmine Road, Kates Hill , was fined £40 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 costs, for driving a vehicle she was not licensed to drive.
The defendant was also fined £110 and handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
- Thomas Hipkiss, aged 18, of Eaton Crescent, Dudley, was fined £220 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 costs as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
The defendant was also fined £70 for driving without a test certificate.
- Selina Marie Adams, aged 29, of Tiled House Lane, Pensnett, was fined £50 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £50 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for six months, for driving without insurance.
- Benjamin Edwin John Winkett, aged 18, of Fens Crescent, Brierley Hill , was handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £85 court costs, for attempting to steal a £500 bike.
In court on September 10:
- Matthew John Raybould, aged 23, of Buffery Road, Dudley, was fined £150 and ordered to pay £150 compensation, £15 costs and £85 court costs, for destroying a glass door pane.
- Dean James Madelin, aged 26, of Masefield Avenue, Dudley, was fined £200 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.
The defendant was also fined £600 and handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
- Emma Williams, aged 28, of Waldron Avenue, Brierley Hill, was fined £110 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, for driving without insurance.
The defendant was also fined £65 and for allowing a child under three to not wear an appropriate seat belt.
In court on September 13:
- Shaun Anthony Duffy, aged 22, of Westfield Road, Dudley, was handed a 12 month conditional discharge for being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
- Luke Jon Smith, aged 22, of Chichester Avenue, Netherton, was handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £75 compensation and £85 court costs, for damaging a wooden bedroom cupboard door.
The defendant was also handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £350 compensation for damaging a police cell door.
- Jason Leon Tinsley, aged 42, of St Andrews Street, Netherton, was handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £85 court costs, for assault.
In court on September 14:
- Richard David Hobbs, aged 24, of Langstone Road, Dudley, was fined £250 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 20 months, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.
