Lenny to visit Dudley foundry this morning
DUDLEY funnyman, Lenny Henry, will be visiting a town foundry later this morning to launch a multi-million pound moulding line.
Thomas Dudley Ltd, on Birmingham New Road – which produces iron castings for the plumbing and construction industries – has installed a £4.5m production line to help increase service and production.
Mr Henry, who is set to be given the Freedom of the Borough later this year by Dudley Council, will be officially unveiling the new Disa 131Z moulding line following a tour of the foundry and will be meeting some of the company’s 250 workforce.
