Children treated for smoke inhalation following Quinton fire

THREE children were treated to smoke inhalation following a fire at a Quinton flat last night.
A West Midlands Fire Service crew from Woodgate Valley and two from Oldbury attended the fire at the three-storey block of flats in Rilstone Road at around 9.44pm.
The incident involved a small rubbish fire in the staircase of the building.
Two girls and a boy were treated for smoke inhalation by firefighters, who also used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to quell the flames.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was also in attendance.
