MERRY Hill shoppers were entertained by BBC WM radio presenters and an 80s singer during a charity busking session.
Breakfast host Pete Morgan, travel presenter Frankie McCamley and sports presenter Daz Hale, accompanied by Jaki Graham and her guitar-playing son, belted out tunes in Fountain Square on September 27, as they raised funds for Cure Leukaemia’s Red Alert Appeal.
The radio station has chosen the appeal as its charity of the year, to help raise as much money as possible to fund nurses at West Midlands Hospitals to carry out lifesaving clinical trials for blood cancer patients with drugs not available on the NHS.
The breakfast team decided on the fundraiser after asking listeners to think of the best ways for them to raise money.
