A MERRY Hill hair salon will be passionate about all things pink for the next few weeks as it marks Breast Cancer month.
Staff at Encore Hair, opposite Asda, will be holding a host of fundraisers for the Pink Ribbon Foundation every day throughout October.
The stylists will also be getting into the spirit of the occasion by wearing pink, taking part in fancy dress and pyjama days and collecting spare change in charity boxes.
One adventurous staff member is also hoping to complete a sponsored skydiving challenge to being in even more cash for the cause.
Customers can also show their support by choosing to have pink colours in their hair and taking part in raffles and a guess the name of the teddy competition, as well as treating themselves to pink cakes and cocktails.
Salon owner, Lisa Roberts, said: “We decided to hold a month-long fundraiser because we all know people who have had breast cancer and we have had customers going through treatment and we are in a position to help raise money.”
