A NETHERTON mum is hoping people will dance the night away at her first fundraiser for a cause close to her heart.

Michelle Marsh, from Copse Road, was diagnosed with Lupus – an autoimmune condition, which causes problems with the body’s immune system – in 1999.

To help support fellow sufferers, the 36- year-old has decided to raise funding for the Hibbs Lupus Trust, which provides information and advice to patients and their families, by hosting a disco night complete with entertainment.

The event will take place at Springfield Social Club in Rowley Regis on Friday October 19 from 7.30pm and will also feature comedian Buster Fuzzy Nuts and a raffle of prizes donated from businesses.

Michelle, who is mum to 15-year-old Chloe and two-year-old Cayden, said: “This is the first time I’ve done something like this and I’ve set a target of £1,000 to raise for the charity.”

Tickets for the event are priced £2.50 and are available by emailing michelle.- marsh123@hotmail.co.uk
