UNHEALTHY men are being given a chance to chat to health professionals at Halesowen Leisure Centre on Wednesday.

Men of all ages are invited to pop into the leisure centre on Wednesday to talk to health professionals if they have any concerns about cancer, stress related issues, or for weight and food advice.

Public health staff will be at Halesowen Leisure Centre from 3 to 7pm giving free advice on health, alcohol, weight management, smoke cessation and cancer. Dads are welcome to take their children along for a free swim but please note children under eight must be supervised.

Councillor Stuart Turner, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said: “Everyone needs to be aware of their personal health and any problems that may be lurking.

“Free events like this are a fantastic way to get advice or find out more about anything you may be worried about.“ For more information call Halesowen Leisure Centre on 01384 812 800.
