A CAR was impaled on railings in a Stourbridge street early this morning (Tuesday, March 3) with the driver walking away uninjured.
West Midlands Fire Service was first alerted to the incident, in Enville Street, by West Midlands Police Service at 4.23am.
A crew from Stourbridge Fire Station attended the incident where the car had been severely damaged after crashing into the railings and a garden wall outside one of the properties.
A spokesman from the fire service said no persons were trapped or injured during the crash, while Stourbridge Fire’s twitter account claiming the driver was “lucky to escape”.

Police were also in attendance at the incident alongside the fire crews which made sure the area, and the car, was safe.
