ELVIS Presley is coming to Old Hill in the guise of rocking vicar Andy Kelso.
His unique Elvis tribute act featuring the best of the king’s rock, ballad and gospel songs is set to strike a chord with fans at Spring Meadow Social Club next Friday (March 13) at 7.30pm.
As well as being chaplain to Worcester Warriors Rugby Club, the singer has performed his tribute at venues throughout the Black Country and has been shortlisted for this year’s Britain’s Got Talent.
Last year he also took part in the Peaceline walk in Belfast and returned for a concert where Catholics and Protestants came together.
Rev Kelso, who suffered a near-fatal motorbike accident which changed the course of his life, said: “I want everyone to have a great evening enjoying the best of Elvis and hopefully dancing.
“I’m able to share a little of Elvis’ journey in between songs and also share how some of his journey and mine were the same.”
Tickets, priced £6 each, or £20 for family of four, includes a hot pizza buffet and are available from Holy Trinity Church Old Hill or by calling 07989 472560.
