A KINGSWINFORD road has been closed due to a two car smash earlier this afternoon (July 24).

Stallings Lane is closed following the collision near the junction of First Avenue, outside the Pensnett Trading Estate.

Emergency services were called to the scene at about 1.38pm after two cars were involved in a head on crash.

Fortunately, no people were injured in the incident, although two children were assessed by paramedics.

A West Midlands Fire Service spokeswoman said: “We were called to an RTC on Stallings Lane at 1.38pm between two motor vehicles which collided head on.

“No persons were trapped, injured or needed to be taken to hospital, but two children were assessed by paramedics.

“The vehicles are being made safe by fire crews.”

Brierley Hill fire station (@FireBrierley) tweeted an image of the incident, with the caption “We are in attendance RTC Stallings Lane, road currently closed, no serious injuries. Be careful on wet roads”.

 

• Brierley Hill Firefighters were called to a second road collision at around 4.30pm this afternoon.
