THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between July 20 and 24:

Karen Cooper, aged 47, of High Street, Amblecote, was fined £150 for drink driving in Brierley Hill on June 28. When tested, she had 67mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was disqualified from driving for 36 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £235 court costs.

Katie Emily Lees, aged 33, of Wood Road, Lower Gornal, was fined £355 for drink driving in Brierley Hill on July 4. When tested, she had 73mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was also sentenced for driving without an MOT and was disqualified from driving for 36 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and a victim surcharge of £235.

Daniel Sullivan, aged 20, of Brook Street, Stourbridge, was fined £82 for assaulting a police officer in Stourbridge on July 5. He must pay compensation of £50 and £150 court costs.

Jason Thomas Jones, aged 44, of Vicarage Road, Lye, was sent to prison for 12 weeks for entering Adams Furniture in Brierley Hill as a trespasser on May 15,with intent to steal. He must pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £80 and £180 court costs.

Nathan David Wainwright, aged 25, of Woodcroft Close, Cradley Heath, was fined £75 for sending a letter which conveyed a threat for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety to the recipient, in Dudley on May 29. He must pay £235 court costs.

Paul Eric Oakes, aged 26, of Cockshed Lane, Halesowen, was sent to prison for 12 weeks for driving while disqualified and without insurance in Halesowen on September 5, 2014, and failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on July 15, having been released on bail. He was disqualified from driving for six months and must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £150 court costs.

Mark Royston Barry Tinsley, aged 33, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for stealing steaks from Iceland, Dudley, on July 14 and possessing crack cocaine in Dudley on July 21. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £180 court costs.

Paul Edward Simpson, aged 31, of Cherry Tree Lane, Hayley Green, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing a toothbrush and two bottles of Disaronno, worth £66.70, from Asda, Halesowen, on July 16. He must pay compensation of £40.70, a victim surcharge of £15 and £235 court costs.

Shaun Stuart Tibbetts, aged 46, of Overfield Road, Russells Hall, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for causing £180 worth of damage to a window in Dudley on June 17. He must pay compensation of £180, a victim surcharge of £15 and £235 court costs.

Dale Martin Mansell, aged 34, of Priory Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for stealing toiletries, worth £30.20, from Asda, Dudley, on June 19. He must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work, a victim surcharge of £60 and £235 court costs.

Keith Martin Saunders, aged 44, of Inhedge Street, Upper Gornal, was given a six month community order for assaulting a woman in Dudley on April 6. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Carl David Warren, aged 46, of Hagley Road West, Quinton, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for drink driving, without insurance, in Brierley Hill on March 21, whilst subject to a conditional discharge. When tested, he had 67mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for causing harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Brierley Hill on February 25. He was disqualified from driving for three years and must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Sarah Louise Bishop, aged 24, of Hamilton Drive, Wordsley, was fined £280 for failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis during the course of an investigation into whether she had committed an offence, in Brierley Hill on July 9. She was disqualified from driving for three years and must pay a victim surcharge of £28 and £235 court costs.

David Andrew Jones, aged 34, of Kinfare Rise, Upper Gornal, was sent to prison for 30 weeks for stealing items worth £1,580.30, from stores in Brierley Hill, Wollaston, Wall Heath and Wordsley, between July 8 and 18. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £180 court costs.

Michelle Jones, aged 49, of Church Street, Brierley Hill, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing furniture and utensils, worth £380, in Brierley Hill on July 22. She must pay compensation of £380, a victim surcharge of £15 and £150 court costs.

Abid Khan, aged 30, of Ashenhurst Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for driving while disqualified and without insurance, in Dudley on July 10. He was disqualified from driving for two years and must carry out 60 hours unpaid work. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £235 court costs.

Matthew John Connelly Dillon, aged 53, of Love Lane, Lye, was sent to prison for 40 weeks for stealing items, worth £977.09, from stores in Stourbridge, Dudley and Cradley Heath, between April 2 and July 4, while subject to a conditional discharge. He was given a two year criminal behaviour order, which prohibits him from entering certain areas within Dudley borough and must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £180 court costs.
