DUDLEY thespians will be bringing swashbuckling fun to the Netherton Arts Centre stage this week.
Members of Dudley Little Theatre will be bringing to life Robert Louis Stevenson's classic pirate tale Treasure Island from tomorrow (Wednesday December 2) until Saturday December 5.
The play sees good versus evil battling for possession of Captain Flint's long-lost loot and stars James Silvers as pirate Long John Silver while Charles Adey takes on the role of young treasure-seeker Jim Hawkins.
Society spokesman Christine Ridgeway said: "While not quite a pantomime, it has plenty of opportunities to boo-hiss the baddies and cheer on the goodies."
Performances run at 7.30pm nightly; there's also a matinee performance on Saturday afternoon starting at 2.30pm.
Tickets cost £8 (£7 concessions, with 10 per cent off group bookings) and can be bought online at www.dudleylittletheatre.org or by calling 01384 872583, 07582 318017 or 07954 424555.
